A Gloucestershire school held a concert to raise funds for a charity which supports children around the world to attend school.
Rendcomb College, the Cotswolds independent school, raised £733.32 for the charity, School in a Bag.
The school's instrument and voice teachers, the director of music, Dr Tom Edwards and a few special guests, including the head's wife, Pippa Jones, all took to the stage.
Lis Foy from School went along to the concert. She said: "It was a pleasure to come to Rendcomb College and listen to these amazing musicians; I feel very privileged that Rendcomb decided to support School in a Bag."
Dr Tom Edwards, director of music at Rendcomb College, said: "I am delighted that we have been able to support such an exciting and worthwhile charity, and at the same time highlight the exceptional abilities of our dedicated staff, who all gave very generously of their time and expertise. It was a wonderful evening of very high quality music making."
School in a Bag was set up to provide a simple solution to help poor, orphaned, vulnerable and disaster affected children throughout the world. Each schoolbag is filled with stationery, learning resources, eating utensils and a water bottle, which will enable a child to write, draw, colour, calculate, express themselves and above all, learn. Each bag costs £20 and has a unique number which can be traced via the charity's website to the child who receives it.
